Don’t rely on others to show you the way. Carry your own map.
                                                                        David Baird

When you look at yourself in a mirror, what you see depends on your mental image of yourself. If you think and accept yourself as a valued and worthwhile person this immediately is projected to your posture and the way of communication with the others. Our self-image makes a great difference about how we feel and act. Probably that is the part where I suppose to share an example, but I am not sure that my experience would be relevant to  anyone else simply because this is a matter of very personal subject and what makes me feel good might be very odd or unpleasant for some one else. Self-confidence is very important for creating strong mental image and there fore makes us  like what we feel and see of ourselves. Of course  there are several  exercises for busting the feeling of confidence but I strongly agree that nothing of this could be done if we don't really trust and believe our body and mind. And again to do so we have  to except and forgive (when is necessary)  ourselves and  complete the circle (acceptance- self-confidence - trust in our abilities). Further more some imperfections of our body can be easily turned as strong points, if our mind manage to dictate so, and actually show us in the eyes of the others  as very unique and independent person with open mind and experimental nature.

Shift Arround

It is confidence in our bodies, minds and spirits that allows us to keep looking for new adventures, new directions to grow in, and new lessons to learn - which is what life is all about.

Oprah Winfrey

I am not the type of person that have idolized someone  no matter how much I like or share similar point of view. However  in this case I couldn't agree more to the well known and iconic Oprah Winfrey. Based on my experience   and the information I collected recently,  I got  to the same conclusion over and over again....And  simply  knowing myself  I took the time to sit and  connect the dots :)
However, many will agree that  the biggest struggle in life is the struggle to know, embrace, and accept ourselves, with all of our faults and imperfections.  The fact that apple shaped  type ladies, carry weight around the tummy area and are therefore without a defined waistline depress most of them and  lower their self esteem almost to the point of zero. Yet there is a medical explanation to that and it calls a Levels of the protein - known as 11BetaHSD1 that tend to be higher in the presence  of "apple-shapes" and  is stored as an unhealthy  fat around the torso. But before  get into how to alter the apple shape body we first need to determine whether this is actually the correct type we think we are and realized that feeling good in our skin is closely related with the life style we have chosen. So eat well, exercise according to your desire and abilities, think positively focusing not on how big is my middle but how beautiful my legs are and how attempting my chest is....Of course shifting that thoughts around will be something new and strange in the start, but it worth the effort. And yet that is how the magic of feeling better and stronger begins :)

In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different.
                                 Coco Chanel

And in fact this  is the hardest thing  we  all tray to be different but not weird.  Is really the body shape matters or all is  state of the mind and perception about ourselves? Looking for an answer I started my research. Most of the fashion magazines and web sides advise how certain body type should be dressed in order of catching attention to the most beautiful parts of  it... but almost no one gives suggestions  how to achieve that self-confidant  state of the mind and  getting  comfortable in our own skin... Here I am... in a full glory of apple shaped curves. Certainly not the popular image of a model, there for different... automatically irreplaceable ...:)  So dear ladies the  inner beauty and confidence are  the ones that counts the most. The purpose of this diary type of blogging is to help all ladies ( of any shape, size, race and age ) to achieve higher self respect and comfort ability in terms of fashion and self esteem. The blog is created as an addition to one of my pinterest dash boards.
